Challenging times challenging our lives...
"The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask. There can't be any large-scale revolution until there's a personal revolution, on an individual level. It's got to happen inside first. You can take away a man's political freedom and you won't hurt him- unless you take away his freedom to feel. That can destroy him. That kind of freedom can't be granted. Nobody can win it for you." -- Jim Morrison

We live in challenging times; the economy, jobs, family, health, home, and upheaval in far-off places, can be sources of doubt, stress, fear, and feelings of helplessness. The future seems uncertain. Perhaps it seems hard to "hang on." And yet hang on you must.

Life is about finding our way, especially during challenging times. Facing one's self can be life-changing experience! Therapy can help. Like an onion, the layers of doubt and fear must be peeled back to reveal the gift of truth, insight, and illumination.

No matter who you are, or the challenges before you, your life is important! In the face of ongoing or possible changes in one's life, it is imperative to embrace oneself ("I exist, therefore I am"). You WILL get through these challenging times.

There is help and hope; a safe place to ask difficult questions, to be heard, finding acceptance and affirmation.
